Peggle 2 Review

I love the rising notes that accompany the bounce of peggle ball as it tumbles from peg to peg each tinkle perfect pitched to the serene melodies underneath. i love how each selection on the menu screen is accompanied by the note from peer gynt's morning a subtle nod to Peggle 2 wonderful predecessor. And I love the rainbows and parkles and the blast of ode to joy that accompanies a perfectly cleared Peggle board. it absolutely mesmerizing and indicative of a game that's much about lifting the weight of the worldfrom your shoulders as it spending hours figuring out the perfect peg pummeling shot for a high score and trust me once peggle gets its hooks into you, the hours will fly by.

if you're new to peggle the basic are simple and intoxicating PopCap's riffing on pachinko you fire a ball bearing from a pivoting turret at the top of the screen and as it falls it bounces between a series of brightly Coloured pegs. Your basic task is to hit all the orange pegs scattered among the blue pegs pegs before you run out of balls.

Your real objective however is look stylish while you do it. This is a dynamic battlefield where your own actions ensure that you can never make exactly the same shot twice.Make the most of it! Score Trick shots by bouncing score extra balls by landing in the roving pot at the across a greate yawing distance. score extra balls by landing in the roving pot at the bottom of the screen rather than plummeting into the abyss.Score huge boosts by dropping into high value bucket at the end of the round as fireworks go off and ainbows soar across the sky

There also peculiar store button on the main menu that is currently closed at the time of this writing which impiles some form of DLC is in the works. While we don't really know what that could entail there's the distinct possibility of the new characters and levels on the horizon which could be a don't creep thier way in eventually.

Peggle 2 is ultimately the same basic concept as the original set of the games but still most definitely worth playing if you're a series fan. PopCap could have done so much more than they did especially when you considered the generation leap, but the good news is Peggle fans wil eat this up and fail in love all over again.

Metro Last Light

The humanity, at least what remains of it, managed to eke out one more year of survival – it is year 2034 now. The mutants still roam the desolate remains of Moscow above and the dark abandoned tunnels around. The resources are even scarcer, but there is still hope – the huge D6 bunker you, Artyom, and your comrades discovered while on your quest to rid the Metro of mortal danger. In its vast expanse it might contain the key to survival; it might hold incredible stores of supplies which the survivors are running out of.
It might be the salvation – but it could also bring about the complete ruin of humanity, for the factions within Metro are gearing up for an all-out war for whatever it might contain. This one could well become the War to End All Wars, since after it ends there will probably be no one to wage war anymore. It truly is the dusk of humanity – and dusk leads to the nigh. Night, which is going to last forever this time.
Will you be able to avert the impending doom? Will you find courage and understanding to right the wrongs that you did and save humanity from itself? Will you even survive?

Batman Arkham Origins

           Overview

Batman: arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel Storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: arkham Asylum and Batman: arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassinas, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight.

               Release
Batman: Arkham Origins was released worldwide on October 25, 2013 for the Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U platforms.[91] A week before its scheduled release in Europe, the retail Microsoft Windows and Wii U versions were delayed until November 8, 2013.[104] In addition, the companion game, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate was released alongside Arkham Origins for the Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita.[91] A spin-off beat 'em up game also titled Batman: Arkham Origins was developed by NetherRealm Studios for iOS and Android handheld platforms. The iOS version was released on October 16, 2013, and the Android version is scheduled for release in late 2013. NetherRealm Studios had previously developed Batman: Arkham City Lockdown, a spin-off to Arkham City.[105][106] The brawler sees players using touchscreen controls to fight enemies one-on-one, including villains such as Bane and Deathstroke. Defeating enemies earns points that can be used to upgrade Batman's stats or unlock gadgets and costumes. Additionally, costumes unlocked in the game can unlock costumes in the console version and vice versa.[107][108][109]
Coinciding with Arkham Origins' United Kingdom launch, fans got the chance to meet voice actors Roger Craig Smith and Troy Baker at Stratford's GAME retailer.[110] A digital comic book of the same name will be released alongside the game. The comic will be the first of DC Comics' DC2 Multiverse initiative, featuring dynamic artwork and sound, and the ability to make choices while reading that modify how the story progresses, with multiple outcomes possible.[111] A series of action figures based on characters from the game, and a functional life-size grapnel gun replica were released in October 2013 by DC Collectibles and NECA, respectively

Company Of Heroes 2

The real-time strategy genre is very under-represented these days, with three of its biggest players being Blizzard with the Warcraft and starCraft series. Creative Assembly with the Total War series and Relic Entertainment with let's just say that relic has been making strategy games for a really long time. All of them have their own specific take on it too with Blizz opting for the traditional base-building and army-building gameplay and Creative Assembly going for massive scale.

NVIDIA Shield gets a major update

NVIDIA’s Android-based handheld gaming console Shield has received a massive update that brings with it several important new features. The first one is the update to Android 4.3 from the 4.2 on the previous build. Android 4.3, as you may know, brings things such as Bluetooth Smart support, improved text input and OpenGL ES 3.0, among other things (although Tegra 4 in the Shield doesn’t actually support OpenGL ES 3.0).
NVIDIA has also updated the game streaming support on the Shield. Now called GameStream, it lets you stream from 109 titles (at the time of writing) from your PC running an NVIDIA Kepler-based GPU to your Shield. You can also connect your Shield to a TV and play the Shield games on the big screen in Full HD. There is also a new gamepad mapper feature that lets you existing Android games without controller support to be mapped to the physical controller on the Shield. You map the keys on the screen to the buttons and then play the game using the buttons. NVIDIA is also selling some bundles, where you can get a GeForce graphics card for your PC, a bunch of games and $100 off on the price of the Steam. So if you’re hunting for a graphics card for your PC this holiday season, you might want to consider that offer.
